Mats-Ola is an IT engineer, entrepreneur and the founder of Mofit. He works with the marketing and business aspect of things and also handles relations with authorities, administers housing and does the final vetting of all clients and consultants.
I grew up on the Swedish West Coast and developed an interest in engineering and people at an early age, especially in a global perspective. I love the cross breeding of ideas that happens internationally. New technology is developed all the time and can be spread to help a lot of people the world over.
I’ve lived for some time in Argentina so I know what it means to move to a new country, learn a new language and adapt to a new culture. One of the good things about working and living in Sweden is that you can usually get by on just English, especially in engineering.
I have a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Computer Technology from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and I also have two years of vocational training in business development, marketing and sales in IT.
Beyond that I have 20 years experience working in electronics and software development in smaller and larger companies and three years of experience recruiting international talent for Swedish IT companies.
